The trail leads to an overlook and interpretive site. The Blue Hole was used by the Upper Cowlitz people as a fishing site. It is a beautiful pool located on the Ohanapecosh River.

La Wis Wis campground is closed and gated at US Highway 12 from mid-September to Memorial Day. The trail can be reached during that time by hiking down through the campground from Highway 12. Please do not block the gate.
