This is rugged doubletrack, which significantly increases in difficulty after the turnoff to Selby campground. It connects to Soda Lake Road in the north, but does not reach CA 166 on the south end–there is a locked gate and private property thereafter. There is no water access along this doubletrack dirt road, and the sun can be severe.
