The trail is closed seasonally each year to protect Species at Risk nesting turtles and birds. Trail closure runs from the first Tuesday after Victoria Day in May through August 15 inclusive.

The area is environmentally sensitive. Please stay on the trail and do not trample the vegetation.

The trail is rated intermediate difficulty overall, but some features are very to extremely difficult with no optional bypasses. This trail is not suitable for beginners or small children. If you are not comfortable negotiating drops and steep rock faces both up and down, then this trail is probably not for you.

Very limited parking is available on Thomas Dolan Parkway at the two trailheads, on the same side as the trail. If the parking area is full, please choose a less busy time to visit. You risk an expensive no-stopping ticket if you park outside the two designated areas.

Disclaimer

Trail closure runs from the first Tuesday after Victoria Day in May until August 15 inclusive.
