The Casper Rail Trail extends between Walsh Drive (east of Eastdale Park) west to Center Street in the charming Wyoming community of Casper. The paved pathway follows the former Chicago and North Western Railway. Just two blocks north of the trail on its west end, you'll find shops and restaurants to enjoy before or after your trail adventure. East of Walsh Drive is gravel and natural surface trail.
For a longer ride, ride north on Beverly street (there is an underpass at Beverly) to pick up the Platte River Trail, which offers a paved riverside route through town, starting at the soccer complex on Bryan Stock Trail.
Future plans call for extending the rail-trail east to Edness Kimball Wilkins State Park with amenities such as pocket parks, benches, and an adjacent running trail.
Best access point is downtown Casper near Art 321 art gallary and The Office Restaurant Bar & Grill
