I really like this trail both up and down. It is rated Very Difficult because of 4 or 5 spots on the trail that are either difficult to maneuver rocks or just really steep. Most everything is fully ride-able up, if you have the legs and cardio for it. A couple spots will test your balance and climbing skills for sure. There is one really rooty and steep spot right after the turn off for Albion Basin that is a short hike.

The middle of the trail is actually really easy with a nice little meadow to get your heart rate down before hitting the steep switchbacks. The view at the top overlooking Catherine Lake is worth the climb as is the DH, of course.
