Amazing views the entire hike. Some great views of fall colors on the drive up, but the hike itself is above the tree line so don’t expect to see much for fall colors. The first lake lookout point is about halfway and makes a perfect spot for a snack break or a good turn around point if you want to make this a shorter hike. The second half gets seriously windy, so bring a jacket and hat. Also a few rocky trail areas, glad I wore my boots. Overall not too crowded, plenty of parking at noon on a Saturday and amazing scenic views the whole hike.
