See ya later road. Cedar Twist is a brand new singletrack climb trail on Mt. Morrisey. Enjoy great views as you pedal through a beautiful cedar forest.

This trail is multi-use for biking and hiking. For riders, the trail is restricted to uphill traffic only. Downhill riding on this trail is not permitted. Hikers can use the trail in both directions.

The trail starts easy at the bottom and gets a little more technical the higher you go, particularly in the final section which has some fun rock features to keep you interested. The climb is split into 3 distinct sections by road crossings that connect it with Calypso Groove, which allows you to ride the middle and/or lower sections of the trails as a smaller loop if you're short on time.

Shout-out to the 2021-22 Grade 5/6 class at Sun Peaks School, who named this trail. Funding for this trail was provided by the BC Community Economic Recovery Infrastructure Program and Tourism Sun Peaks.

Access Info

Head to the base of the Morrisey Express Chairlift and follow the road that curves uphill to the left (Vista Trail). You'll pass the bottom of Calypso Groove, then reach a spot where the road forks into two. Follow the right fork uphill and the trail starts immediately on your left.
