Chapman drive is a fire road on the backside of Flagstaff mountain. While closed to vehicles, it is maintained for emergency crews and is generally smooth making it a favorite for roadies, grodies and mountain bikers riding to Walker Ranch who would rather ride on dirt than pavement. A few grade reversals for drainage add some whoops to the ride, but don't expect a true mountain bike experience.
