Cheap Thrills is an excellent trail that descends almost 200 vertical metres from the Flank Trail to the start of 99er. The trails is well-built and offers numerous steep rock faces and curving bridges to keep you entertained. Although there are certainly some double-black sections they are not mandatory, meaning capable technical riders willing to walk around a few stunts will still have a great ride.
The most direct way to access this trail is to ride up Stonebridge Place and take the Stonebridge-Flank Connector. Climb this trail very steeply and join the Flank Trail at about 980m elevation. The start of Cheap Thrills is not well marked, but look for a prominent clearing where the Flank Trail turns north (right).
