Chimney Gulch is a great trail in both directions. The uphill provides a very consistent grade with a few tight steep switchbacks early on, to several technical rock gardens sprinkled throughout the remainder of the climb. As a downhill its fast with a few steep janky cruxes. Finishing with a nice smoother flow section at the bottom. Chimney Gulch is extremely popular for both bikers and hikers, be courteous if using the trail during peak hours and weekends.
