Colonel is a new XC trail that climbs from the top of the final descent on SMD and connects to the top of Tamarac. It rides well both ways as either a climb back to the top of Malde or an alternative, fun XC to ride Death to the bottom of King George Park. A couple of connectors over the road are hard to find but should be finished by the time the snow flies. Just go straight across. Entirely volunteer built, Colonel is now officially part of the KCTS trail network.

Access Info

A the top of Tamarack, go right up the old double track for ~100m. Just after the crest of the hill, the start of the north end of the trail turns sharply to the left. To access from SMD, ride Super, Mega and the climb of Death to the highpoint to the start of the main descent. The trail starts on your right.
