The road goes from the Crazy Canyon trailhead to the top of Mount Sentinel connecting with many trails in the area along the way. The grade is mostly gradual with a couple of steeper sections before the Sentinel saddle. Above the saddle the road is very steep and the Mount Sentinel Summit trail is a better option both up and down.
