The trail to Delta Lake is unsigned and unmaintained by the National Parks service. While the the trail is well travelled once you leave the Amphitheater Lake trail, it can be difficult to follow. The trail has multiple braided paths that weave through a scree and boulder field. This section is relatively short, but very steep and loose in some areas. Regardless of your path, as long as you are gaining elevation the mountain walls will funnel you toward the lake where you will be rewarded with spectacular views of the lake and many peaks, including the Grand Teton.
