Devil's Drop is a intermediate difficulty trail connecting Seneca at the top and the Devil's Elbow area at the bottom. This trail has wide switchbacks and no exposure, the main trail features are wooden bridges over wet areas.
For a newer rider, after becoming comfortable with the loop around the top of Jake's Rocks, as well as Seneca and Corn Planter, Devil's drop is a good introduction to a more downhill oriented trails at Jake's Rocks. Devil's drop will require more bike handling skills than those other trails around the top of Jake's Rocks. Devil's drop is often used as a climbing trail after descending Blacksnake or Deerfoot, both of which are more difficult trails.
