Originally an "old school" descent trail, Doukhobor has seen lots of changes. The top section serves as a popular connector to and from Tamarack, while the lower section to Patterson is more often ridden as a climb. It's a very tough climb in places, but the KCTS has been (and will continue) working slowly to make it more reasonable, and just opened the new lowest section (built with the substantial help of community volunteers) which replaces the nasty road climb section.
