This is an easy double-wide trail through Montane. The surface is smooth gravel, the grades are modest and there are no challenging switch backs. The trail takes you out to the Montane Hut, with great views across to the Lizard Range. The trail is groomed for multi-use in the winter.

Trail is snow covered, but ground is no longer as firm as in winter. Use caution as snow melts as riding when soft can cause trail damage.
