Comienzo y final del sendero se ubican entre la AP-68 y la senda La viña parte alta, yo siempre hago este recorrido desde el alto de La Grajera por La Vaca, la Unión y La Viña parte alta para bajar a la vía de servicio de la autopista o al revés, considero que el recorrido completo es de una gran dificultad por sus fuertes pendientes y lo abrupto del terreno. Siempre he llamado a este recorrido Senda del Scrofa porque es habitual encontrar en el recorrido algún jabalí cuyo nombre cientifico es Sus scrofa.
