Please use caution when riding this two way trail and be watchful for riders approaching from the opposite direction. This trail serves as the primary connection between Old Forge, Maple Ridge and McCauley Mountain riding areas. Riding from town, the trail at times climbs a moderately steep grade on a wide, machine built surface with multiple switch back turns where sight-lines are limited. Riding from town, a massive boulder and picnic table rest area marks the peak elevation and end of this trail. From this point riders have many options including a climb to the summit of maple Ridge or descending to the base of the McCauley Mountain ridinhg area.
