This hand-built descent features natural flow mixed with gnar. Designed/built to push you outside of your comfort zone: Roots, Rocks, Loam, Steeps, Off-cambers, jumps(gaps), drops, option lines- you won't find any needless berms here. Best shuttled, but the top can be accessed by a 7 mile grind to the top starting from the Drift Creek Trailhead, located at the drift creek / idiot creek road intersection.
Scope/Learn the trail before you send it, there are double-black diamond features with consequences. Expect trail conditions to be variable, change & bed-in over time. Full disclosure- There's a punchy pedal in the middle to get you to the top of the second downhill.
100% volunteer designed, built and funded, please thank a local trailbuilder if you see them out there. It's taken 13 years of advocacy work to finally receive official approval to begin moving dirt in late 2019.
When exiting/entering Hwy 6 to/from Drift Creek Road, please GO SLOW and take extra caution as it is a narrow one-lane blind crest. Shuttle roads are very narrow with blind corners, please drive respectfully.
