A bit of a remote climb that is not that popular. Perhaps because you have to drive up that South Fork Ophir Canyon Road which is slow going and a bit rough. The hike has several steep sections and can be fairly overgrown. Much of it is exposed to the sun. This hike doesn't actually summit Lewiston Peak, you have to do a bit of a scramble partway through if you want to do that.
The section from Lewiston Peak to Flat Top Mountain is basically a ridge walk, where often there is no clear trail.
