The Flavelle trail can be ridden in either direction but it is usually used as a climb route back up into the Starz network. It is a good steady, old-fashioned climb trail through a wet area (long ladder bridge) and then through the forest and along the ravine edge of Mossom Creek up to the Gasline in Anmore. When you hit the Gasline turn right and head uphill - it links you right to the Starz Line 3 entrance - or keep going past that entrance to the main Starz loop entrance a hundred meters further.

Access Info

The Flavelle trail can be accessed at the top of Flavelle Drive through the pedestrian walkway. OR EVEN BETTER access it from the bottom of Chevalier Court just by the walkway - turn right and follow the trail all the way up behind the houses on Flavelle along the ravine edge above Mossom Creek (this gets you off the street and more trail time). To get to Flavelle Drive exit Starz and turn right and follow the path to the playground/sports court and drop down to the street - turn right (uphill) this is Flavelle. Chevalier CT is first street on your left as you head up Flavelle.
