This trail is mainly fire roads, but has two sections of hike-a-bike over wet, rocky stream beds. One of these is a few 100s of metres long, and takes a while. Some of the fire roads are pretty steep and make for a challenging climb. The views are beautiful, but the combination of hiking sections and technically easy fire roads makes this trail not a mountain bike classic. I hiked it on foot and enjoyed myself, but wouldn't recommend biking it.
