No parking at campground: go left to recreational lot. Not too much climbing overall. You can cut out a lot of vertical by going through the campground instead of the loop up the hill.

A rolling ride with a fairly even mix of rocks, roots, and smooth dirt/pine needles. The roots can get challenging at times, but no long sections. Trail goes through typical AK backcountry forest. There are occasional good views of Turnagain arm and the highway side of the Chugach. Gull rock provides an ideal turnaround point with great views, places to stop for lunch/snack.
