Gunnector serves as a fun shortcut between two sections of the Gunny Loop. It cuts off to the left about half way up the first climb on the Gunny Loop and drops down into a fun ravine with banked corners and rock jumps and features before climbing back up to meet the Gunny Loop after the "stopper" section and just before the "Gunny Gets Loose" section of the Gunny Loop. A fun trail when conditions are dry, but if there is any chance of mud, it can be hell. The bentonite clay will destroy your ride, your bike, and any semblance of fun.
The Gunnector turns left and downhill about midway up the initial climb of the Gunny Loop. This is how it is primarily ridden. It can also be ridden from the other end, but that would mean missing all the fun on the Gunny Loops and most of the fun on the Gunnector.
