On the outskirts of Srinagar in Harwan, H2N (Harwan to Nishat) is a beautiful trail located in the city, offering some great views of dal lake and the city. It is lush green, surrounded by the Dachigam national park.
You will be riding behind the beautiful Mughal Gardens, which are UNESCO heritage sites. If you are looking for a unique adventure in the city, this is the perfect place.
If you are a history lover, stop to see the ruins of an old Buddhist Monastery on this trail on route. It is hard to imagine the importance of the site from its ruins. But this ancient monastery played a pivotal role in the history of Buddhism.
You have to take the road to Harwan village, park in Harwan SDA parking, located around 7 miles northeast of Srinagar. Access to the trail is behind the main gate of Harwan park, there is no signage, just off the main road behind the Harwan Garden's main entrance marks the start of the trial. The Upper Tier of this trail lies on the edge of the Dachigam National Park.
Do not adventure in to the national park forest zone, you will not get lost, follow the water pipeline to stay on the trail.
