Heart Trail is very flowy and has some good exposure. There are a few small technical sections but nothing too hard. When descending this trail remember to look ahead for uphill traffic. Control your speed as some hillsides are very steep and you would roll for a long time; Intermediate/blue trail, with bits of solid exposure. Heart is multi-use and open to bi-directional traffic. The trail is 20% easy and 80% intermediate. Flagstaff Biking Organization and the Coconino National Forest worked together to make this trail happen. Flagstaff Biking Organization raised money and received grants to hire ACE(American Conservation Experience) who constructed this amazing trail.
While horseback riding is allowed, it is not recommended.
