Bald Eagle State Forest has many trails like this; logging roads that have a winding trail meandering down the middle. Kind of a nice break letting you rest up for the rocks on the other trails.
Hough Trail is good in either direction; it's a gentle climb up to the group camping area on 477 or a fun descent down to Tunis Road.
There is only one turn that can be a bit tricky; the original road bed goes to 477 at the east end, but just short of the road you'll want to bear north to reach the intersection with Hall trail. This is the way almost everyone rides it, so the trail tread will lead you this way.
