Es una alternativa muy exigente a la bajada por la GR a Saravillo,tecnicamente muy dificil y con el terreno muy cambiante debido a que se baja por el barranco del rio ..(cascajeras,Arboles caidos)...es mas un reto que un disfrute.En el primer tramo muchas raices.Mejor no intentarlo en mojado.
Atencion a los senderistas numerosos en verano, si posible hacerla a ultima hora del dia o evitar los dias de maxima afluencia en verano (julio, agosto y fines de semana).
