This section of Jackson Ridge Trail is bike-only. It begins at the P3 parking off Norling Road. Hikers are recommended to use the Jackson Ridge hiking trail. Jackson Ridge Trail will continue uphill, however, it turns into a multi-use trail. This section is a very steep climb up an old road bed that has been converted into a trail.
