The Ride: The lengthy lower portions of the trail are very rough, narrow, in some places overgrown and mostly not ride upable. Once into the alpine the trail shines giving up an excellent alpine bike ride ending up at a nifty old stone forestry lookout. The trail is great fun on the descent. Please travel on the trail in the sensitive alpine areas.
Notes: The lower section of trail traverse some serious avalanche paths/bear country, it is recommended that all travelling in bear country precautions are adhered to.
The NW route is hiking route only.
