Starts fast with some tech and cool rocks embedded in the dirt. Almost slab riding, but rougher. The trail starts to get increasingly difficult and steep as it makes its way through the deep forest. Small berms keep the speed up, but the rocks get more and more difficult.
This line in the winter takes you through some of the best tree skiing on the mountain ... and the terrain near the bottom is some of the most challenging, with 3 steep neighboring glades (Zone 1, 2, 3 from skier's left to right). Zone 2 and 3 require you to ski over a MTB bridge to access. You will encounter rocks, frozen waterfalls, stream beds, and other challenges near the bottom. Further, up, access a nice tree zone to the right of the Jug trail, just after the Bail Out ski trail. Once you get past some of the easier stuff at the top, this is double-diamond level difficulty in the winter.
