This out and back trail is the way to the hot spring which is a man-made small pool filled by a natural hot spring. The water temperature is around 95F/35C (depending on time of year).
From the parking area walk underneath the highway bridge, note the trail isn't signed. There is a short section which climbs down into the wash. Follow the wash for about 1.5 miles, it meanders through the canyon, sometimes in the wash and sometimes just above it on ATV tracks. The hot spring is located when the canyon walls and pretty high and widen.
There is a turn off the highway onto a dirt road to a small parking area almost under the highway bridge.
