Lots of winding narrow singletrack takes you around the lakeshore. There is a short section on a paved sidewalk as you pass by the beach on the Northwest shore, but most the trail is fairly easy singletrack. It is sandy in areas, but there are concrete lattice work to keep the trail from rutting out. In the dense wooded areas the trail gets pretty narrow and can be a bit rooty in spots.
