Demanding hike up but well worth it: Absolutely stunning scenery - with much of Berina/Palü in view for most of the trail. Most of the way up is bike carry, with some (short) sections rideable when on the ski slopes. It's a windy hiking path maendering through open grassy areas, some rocky/scree sections. The route down has enough technical, blocked sections to mark the overall as black, since you won't have much fun riding down 1000m vertical when you have to push every blocked/technical section - lots of them. Never big exposure though. The top has the ski gondola station and looks very rocky and bare - Piz Lagalp itself is definitely no beauty itself, but the view into any other direction definitely is. You can see Berninapass too. Very enjoyable and variable way down.
