Il percorso delle antiche rogge è un facile sentiero ciclopedonale di circa 7 km che parte da Bribano di Sedico e arriva al Sasso di San Giorgio proseguendo poi con un prolungamento fino al nuovo ponte in località Tappole, costeggiando il torrente Cordevole. Lungo il percorso si incontrano diverse testimonianze dell’attività industriali legate all’acqua un tempo presenti sul territorio.
La strada delle Antiche Rogge prende il nome dalle rogge (canali) che portavano l’acqua alle segherie, mulini, fucine e una cartiera che un tempo si trovavano lungo il percorso. In questa zona infatti erano attivi diversi opifici alimentati dallo scorrere dell’acqua, così come ci viene raccontato dalla segnaletica presente lungo la via.
Potete scegliere di percorrere la strada in entrambe le direzioni, sia partendo da Bribano che dalla località Tappole/Sass Muss. La maggior parte del percorso è su strade bianche sterrate pianeggianti che costeggiano il Cordevole, passando attraverso prati, campi e piccoli borghi.

The route of the Antiche Rogge ditches is an easy cycle/pedestrian path of about 7 km which starts from Bribano di Sedico and arrives at Sasso di San Giorgio, then continuing with an extension up to the new bridge in the locality of Tappole, near the Cordevole river. Along the way, you will come across various testimonies of the industrial activities linked to water once present in the area.
The road of the Antiche Rogge takes its name from the rogge (canals) that carried water to the sawmills, mills, forges and a paper mill that once stood along the route. In fact, several factories powered by the flow of water were active in this area, as we are told by the signs along the road.
You can choose to take the road in both directions, both starting from Bribano and from the locality of Tappole/Sass Muss. Most of the route is on flat dirt roads that run along the Cordevole, passing through meadows, fields and small villages
