This is a beginner/intermediate gravity trail with drop offs and jumps. Begin at the top with access from Smooth Operator or the gravel road (located on right just as you enter Ridgeway). Turn left at the bottom and ride gravel access road to the Boat Ramp Rd for shuttle pick up. Must purchase day-use pass to shuttle.

A $5.00 per vehicle day use fee is charged at Ridgeway Recreation Area. Fees must be paid by credit / debit card only at the automated fee machines located at the beginning of the Boat Ramp Rd. Visitors may also purchase an annual pass that allows vehicles to gain access to all U.S Army Corps of Engineers day-use areas. Annual pass vouchers may be purchased at any fee machine and then traded in for an annual pass with volunteer park hosts at Damsite or Harris Branch Beach when in operation. Additionally, they may be traded in via mail or at the nature center when in operation. America the Beautiful pass can also be purchased online or at the Nature Center and is good for most Federal Lands.
