Lickstone Road is a great gravel road that is best accessed by the Sunburst Campground. The road is wide open and gravel for the first half. The second half becomes more like doubletrack that can get a bit overgrown in the peak of Summer though its still rideable.

What's not shown on the map is that you can make it a loop by dropping down a forest service road to the right that runs behind Lake Logan and comes out on the North Side of the lake at the Pisgah Game Lands sign. That spur gets steep and is best on a bigger tire or hardtail. From there, you would loop back South on 215 to the start.
