This wider but unused access road was used as snowmobile access to the ski area but provides a connection to Bill Albert’s and the unnamed ski area trail. There can be some wet spots.

North end of trail now winds up between the water supply ponds to the Laurel Mt Ski parking area. Locust Trail and Locust Camp Road are heavily used by snowmobilers in winter. The upper end of the reroute is shared use between xc skiers, connecting to Lodge Trail, and snowmobilers. Both user groups should be alert for the other.
