Gridley trail starts in Ojai at the north end of Gridley Road and ends on top of Nordhoff Ridge. This short lower section of Gridley trail is quite a bit more technical than the rest of the trail containing steep rock gardens and some exposure. Beyond this lower section, Gridley is a relatively gentle climb from Ojai to the ridge.
