MTB ride to Macetown an abandoned historic gold mining village. If you follow the singletrak there is no reason to cross the Arrow river that this track follows. There is a legal road that follows the Arrow river to Macetown so look out for 4WDs and take it easy on the way back down. Follow the road and take all the singletrack options, if you come to a ford on the road look for the singletrack that starts just before it. Most of them are not signposted so keep a sharp lookout or find a local who knows the way Remember you DON'T need to get your feet wet by crossing the river IF you take the singletrack options but you can cross the river over and over again if you just follow the road.

Access Info

Start from the Chinese village and cross Bush Creek using the bridge by the toilets, turn right and head towards the Arrow river looking cross the big pipe onto the singletrack. This is a shared track to be nice to walkers and take it slow when you come back down it afterwards.

Fantastic rides. I found the single tracks easy. They have their challenges though.
