Ride this one counter clockwise.

Follow sign from Sugarloaf Rd to McCune Trailhead parking. Ride out the gravel road you came in on and look for a trail on your left shooting up the mountain. Climb, climb, climb to the top, a connector trail will come in on your right but continue to the left. This is where the fun begins, flowy singletrack and technical rock gardens follow along the ridge through some neat rock outcroppings. After the technical stuff the trail starts to descend down the mountain. This is one of the best downhills in the park After the downhill you'll come to the overlook. Take a break here, sit on the bench and enjoy a snack while overlooking the Youghiogheny River Valley. From here its just a mile or two of forest road riding back to the trailhead. Along the right side of the forest road you can see remnants of the old McCune Homestead.
