Start at the fire road, close to a small gravel quarry. Drop down through an easy angled, mossy traverse of the hillside, that includes a drop into a gully and small jump. Continue the rooty traverse to reach an old forestry road. Continue more steeply down this road for 50 metres to the next feature on the trail. Complete a drop jump back in to forest, followed by a further rooty traverse. Exit the forest into a pasture of bracken. Continue for a further 100 metres across the pasture. Turn left in to a series of berms and terraces cut into the hill side. With increasing exposure, the trail steepens down to a jump over an old concrete pipe, before meeting the end of the Valley trail.
