Fun cross country trail. Most people ride east to west starting at cougar creek. The climb out of Cougar Creek is a bit of a lung buster with two steep hills (Cougar Hill and Cardio/Golf Course Hill). The climb takes you up behind and above the Silver Tip golf course in a long traverse before a steep, technical descent near the end. There are some creek crossings ups and downs.
There are a few technical challenges, but overall it is very much a long blue traverse to Tibbits Quarry.
Please note that this is an official trail through the wildlife corridor (which extends above). Parks has signs prohibiting travel above, but the location of some signs makes it look like the trail is closed. It isn't ... don't go above the trail.
