This lightly used trail connects the middle of Dry River valley to Crawford Path at the Eisenhower-Franklin col and lies almost entirely within the Presidential Range-Dry River Wilderness. The trail's grades are mostly easy to moderate with good footing, and runs above treeline for only a short distance at the ridge crest.
The trail diverges left from Dry River Trail 5.2 mi. from US 302.
