Mountain Highway is the main access to almost all the trails on Mount Fromme. It is a gravel road past the yellow gate. The steepness is a nice grade and even heavy downhill bikes can ride up with a bit of work.

There are 6 switchbacks, most the trailheads are after the 5th switchback with 4 upper trails after the 6th.

Access Info

The gravel road starts at the end of the paved city street. There is a large parking lot between the first and second gates, a few hundred metres from where the paved road ends. There is a three hour parking limit and hours vary seasonally, so be sure to check the sign at the first gate when you arrive for current closure times.
