The Nationals XC (Grade 3+ - Intermediate to Expert)

Just before crossing Lindsay Creek Bridge on the true left hand side-hand side, a track begins at the base of the forest, above a grassy clearing. There is an entrance to the Nats XC climb and an exit from the The Chute. Head up the technical steep climb to the top of the forest, then come down a technical descent with jumps, drops and tight corners. Its fun, but not for the feint hearted.
Just before a steep drop, the track branches, left into Dead Cow Gully or right down the Chute, a Grade 3+ drop down back to the start of the Nats XC and to join Mt Cargill track near Lindsay Creek bridge again.
