Another must do trail segment especially if this is your only visit. It is the first LHORBA built trail at Laurel Mountain/Forbes area.
The northern segment dips along the downhill side of Silvermine. It includes numerous log crossings, a short rock garden, and a short but steeper climb. There are several boulders adjacent to the trail providing alternate lines and play spots.
Outcrop crosses Silvermine about midway, offering an alternate access/bailout point. Riders will encounter a bouldery rock garden climb through the outcrop after crossing Silvermine. The rest is fairy level with a couple boulder crevices to ride through along with more log crossings and boulders. The trail ends with a gradual rock garden descent reconnecting to Silvermine at the former gas well site.
One of the trails recommended by Forbes for winter fat biking as this is not skied
