Trail from the Wild Rivers Visitor Center to the Red River Fish Hatchery. The first mile from the ranger station is mostly flat and rocky with twists and turns. Once you come to the fence it is a different story, the trail is steep with larger rocks and switchbacks as it descends to the fish hatchery along an old mining road. There are some technical features and a couple tight turns to watch for, then the trail becomes narrower with loose dirt and gravel before dropping onto the footpath along the Red River.
