Named after the Wallabies that are often found on the trail and their ability to almost find themselves under you wheels.

Hand built and flowing in a similar style to Tukonohi Trail. There are a couple of short, flat pedalling sections but overall it's a fun descent that is action packed with small features.
A couple of drops require the rider to be able to loft their front wheel - if you're riding it for the first time be sure to take it easy and scope it out. One of them is only obvious when you're right on top of it - so don't be too enthusiastic on your first ride down. If you're not sure, walk or go round the couple of more technical sections - you'll still love the riding on the remainder of it
The nature of the trail changes a little with the terrain, a few roots, a few greasy corners if it's damp underfoot.

Pest Control crosses over the singletrack climbing trail of Sidewinder - it's clearly marked so you can't get it wrong.

Access Info

From the high point of Hill Road, opposite the start of Frontal Lobotomy trail. If you're coming from Direct Rd or the western side (Waipa MTB carpark side) of Hill Rd - ride to the entry to Frontal Lobotomy and Whaki is on your left.
If you're riding up Hill Rd from the Eastern side (Eagle Vs Shark side), as soon as the hill flattens off you'll see the entry to Tukonohi on your right - go a little further to reach Whaki.
