This is a steep climb up an old steel penstock pipe that is about 80" in diameter. The pipe is mostly buried. You ride on or next to exposed sections of pipe, so you are never really elevated, although you gain LOTS of elevation This is a very direct route to higher elevation trails. If you decide to descend this, keep the speed down and be very careful if anything is wet.
